A beautiful girl lived in Luoyang. There was a very tall pagoda in the city. One day, it was very hot. The girl sat under a big tree.
Suddenly a big wind came and took her into the sky.
The girl's family was very sad.
When the girl opened her eyes, she was at the top of the pagoda. A young man was in front of her.
"Will you marry me?" asked the young man. "No, I won't," said the girl. "I want to go home."
The young man was angry. "Then you will stay in this pagoda," he said.
Every day the young man visited the girl. But the girl still didn't want to marry the young man.
One day, the window of the pagoda was open. The girl looked out. The young man was now a monster! The girl was very frightened.
Later, the girl saw a kind man below the pagoda. "Help! Help!" she said. The man didn't hear her. So the girl threw her clothes out of the window. The man saw the clothes. Then he looked up and saw the girl at the top of the pagoda. He ran for help.
The next day everyone went to the pagoda to help the girl. When the girl's brother saw the monster, he hit it. The monster flew away in the shy.
Then they saved the girl. "I missed you so much," said the girl to her brother. Everyone in the village sang and danced for many days.

Every Friday we have a fire alarm test at nine o'clock sharp, and even though the sound is very noisy, I am so happy because when I heard that it reminded me today is Friday and tomorrow is weekend, it is the last working day of the week and I have two days off, it’s so excited!
Sometimes we have a fire drill, when you hear the fire alarm, everybody have to run out through the fire exit.
One Monday at nine o’clock, the alarm was sounded and I was working behind the fish house and didn’t hear it. The department manager and staff were looking for me thoroughly, finally they found me and asked me to stop my job and follow them went out.

"Anything else?" I asked.
"Yes, I want to find a partner for her." The gentleman was humourous.
They were looking for another fish through the fish ponds one by one, I brought a net and the fish bag followed them, the fish were always swimming towards us and asking for food in every pond.
"What’s the matter with the fish?" The lady asked.
"They are hungry." I said.
"No, not hungry, they knew us and greeting us." The gentleman said.
"Yes, definitely!" I said.
We stopped for a few minutes by a fish pond.

I teach economics at UNLV three times per week. Last Monday, at the beginning of class, I cheerfully asked my students how their weekend had been. One young man said that his weekend had not been so good. He had his wisdom teeth removed. The young man then proceeded to ask me why I always seemed to be so cheerful. mens cashmere sweaters

His question reminded me of something I‘d read somewhere before: "Every morning when you get up, you have a choice about how you want to approach life that day," I said. "I choose to be cheerful."

"Let me give you an example," I continued, addressing all sixty students in the class. "In addition to teaching here at UNLV, I also teach out at the community college in Henderson, 17 miles down the freeway from where I live. One day a few weeks ago I drove those 17 miles to Henderson. I exited the freeway and turned onto College Drive. I only had to drive another quarter mile down the road to the college. But just then my car died. I tried to start it again, but the engine wouldn‘t turn over. So I put my flashers on, grabbed my books, and marched down the road to the college." ccashmere coats

"As soon as I got there I called AAA and arranged for a tow truck to meet me at my car after class. The secretary in the Provost‘s office asked me what has happened. ‘This is my lucky day,‘ I replied, smiling."

" ‘Your car breaks down and today is your lucky day?‘ She was puzzled. ‘What do you mean?‘" homecoming dresses 2012

" ‘I live 17 miles from here.‘ I replied. ‘My car could have broken down anywhere along the freeway. It didn‘t. Instead, it broke down in the perfect place: off the freeway, within walking distance of here. I‘m still able to teach my class, and I‘ve been able to arrange for the tow truck to meet me after class. If my car was meant to break down today, it couldn‘t have been arranged in a more convenient fashion.‘"

"The secretary‘s eyes opened wide, and then she smiled. I smiled back and headed for class." So ended my story.

I scanned the sixty faces in my economics class at UNLV. Despite the early hour, no one seemed to be asleep. Somehow, my story had touched them. Or maybe it wasn‘t the story at all. In fact, it had all started with a student‘s observation that I was cheerful.

When someone disagrees with you or offends you, don’t lose your temper. Why? Because it is of no use to do so. You ought to (should) be patient and keep calm lest you should quarrel with him. You must know that patience is not cowardice, but a virtue. I hope that everybody practices it. evening dresses on sale

In addition, patience will also bring us success. When you meet with difficulties in your work, it is no use losing heart. You must keep on fighting until (till) the final victory belongs to you. mens cashmere sweaters

"I don't believe a word of it," Meta broke in. "That can't be Pyrrus he's writing about ..." Her words died away as Jason wordlessly pointed to the title on the cover. He continued scanning the pages, flipping them quickly. A sentence caught his eye and he stopped. Jamming his finger against the place, he read aloud. "'... And troubles keep piling up. First Har Palo with his theory that the vulcanism is so close to the surface that the ground keeps warm and the crops grow so well. Even if he is right--what can we do? mother of the groom dresses We must be self-dependent if we intend to survive. And now this other thing. It seems that the forest fire drove a lot of new species our way. Animals, insects and even birds have attacked the people. (Note for Har: check if possible seasonal migration might explain attacks.) There have been fourteen deaths from wounds and poisoning. We'll have to enforce the rules for insect lotion at all times. And I suppose build some kind of perimeter defense to keep the larger beasts out of the camp.' "This is a beginning," Jason said. "At least now we are aware of the real nature of the battle we're engaged in. It doesn't make Pyrrus any easier to handle, or make the life forms less dangerous, to know that they were once better disposed towards mankind. mother of the bride dresses All this does is point the way. Something took the peaceful life forms, shook them up, and turned this planet into one big deathtrap for mankind. That something is what I want to uncover."
